Join #TeamAcenda as a Registered Nurse in our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) in Gloucester County, New Jersey.

Job Overview:   

As part of a multi-disciplinary, core services team, the PACT Nurse provides nursing assessment, direct support services, and primary health care to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. The RN will meet with individuals mostly in the community as part of a team approach to care. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assess the medical history and current needs of the client 
  • Work with the PACT team to develop integrated medical and mental health treatment goals 
  • Provide support and education to other team members in nursing/medical treatment and health care 
  • Communicates programmatic or job-related concerns to the supervisor and makes suggestions for improvement in an appropriate and timely manner. 
  • Works collaboratively with coworkers and agency staff to effectively communicate and problem solve 
  • Provide RN services in the community to individuals served. 

 

Requirements: 

  • NJ Registered Nurse license in good standing 
  • Willing to work in the community to provide service 
  • Must be team oriented and willing to be part of a collaborative environment 
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record. 

 

Preferred: 

  • Two years paid post-degree work experience in mental health 

 

Additional Information: 

  • Starting Compensation $70,000 Annually 
  • $1000 sign on bonus 
  • Bilingual-Spanish differential: $1.50 per hour 
  • On site pharmacy to assist with medication needs
