Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for an Account Assistant. The Account Assistant will support financial operations by processing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial reports. The role involves managing invoices, tracking expenses, complying with tax regulations, and coordinating with internal departments for timely financial reporting. Additionally, the Accountant Assistant will help ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software, ledger management, and financial reconciliation
- Familiarity with tax regulations, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in working with budgets and financial data
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines effectively
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
