About the job:

The Accounts Receivable Executive will be responsible for managing the end-to-end receivables process, ensuring timely invoicing, accurate collections, and proper reconciliation of customer accounts. This role plays a key part in maintaining the company’s cash flow and overall financial stability.

You will coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve billing issues, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain an up-to-date ageing report. The role also involves identifying gaps, improving collection efficiency, and strengthening financial controls.

To be successful in this role, you should be detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in communication and follow-ups. You will play an important part in keeping financial operations smooth while supporting the company’s revenue cycle management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Manage customer invoicing, billing accuracy, and timely dispatch of invoices.

● Track outstanding payments and follow up with clients for collections.

● Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.

● Maintain an ageing report and highlight overdue payments.

● Coordinate with the sales and operations team for invoice-related queries.

● Process receipts and update payment entries in the accounting system.

● Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

● Assist with month-end closing activities and AR reports.

Requirements:

● 1–2 years of experience, preferably in a start-up or CA firm environment.

● Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

● Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks or similar).

● Good communication and follow-up skills.

● Detail-oriented and organized.
