Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to manage invoicing, sales order tracking, and collections. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate revenue tracking, timely billing, and smooth cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Billing
- Generate and share accurate invoices with clients within defined timelines (TAT)
- Ensure all invoices are aligned with contract terms, scope of work, and commercials
- Maintain proper documentation and approvals before invoice release
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Sales / Account Managers / Finance) for billing inputs
- Track and resolve any discrepancies in invoices raised
Sales Order Management
- Record and maintain all sales orders (SO) in the system accurately
- Track the lifecycle of sales orders from booking to revenue realisation
- Set reminders and follow-ups for upcoming billing milestones
- Ensure timely communication with concerned stakeholders before due dates
- Maintain a structured tracker for all active and closed sales orders
Collections & Accounts Receivable
- Track accounts receivable and outstanding payments regularly
- Follow up with clients for timely collections via calls and emails
- Maintain aging reports (0-30, 30-60, 60+ days) and highlight risks
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing/payment disputes
- Ensure timely closure of outstanding invoices and improve cash flow
Compliance & Process Control
- Ensure adherence to company policies and financial controls
- Maintain accuracy and transparency in all financial transactions
- Identify gaps in processes and suggest improvements
- Support audits by maintaining proper records and documentation
Key Skills & Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Billing / Collections / Revenue Assurance
- Strong understanding of invoicing, billing cycles, and the collections process
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel (basic formulas, trackers, reports)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills for client coordination and follow-ups
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
