key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP) Management ▸ Own the end-to-end AP lifecycle — invoice receipt, verification, approval workflows, and payment disbursement ▸ Manage and reconcile payables across hotels, transport partners, experience providers, and international DMCs ▸ Ensure timely processing of high-volume invoices in line with payment terms and internal controls ▸ Drive vendor reconciliations and proactively resolve discrepancies and disputes ▸ Act as the primary finance point of contact for key suppliers ▸ Implement AP policies, SOPs, and approval-authority matrices ▸ Monitor aging reports and maintain minimal overdue payables ▸ Lead AP automation and process-improvement initiatives
Cash Flow Management ▸ Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts ▸ Analyse actual vs. projected cash flows and share variance insights with leadership ▸ Optimise payment scheduling to sustain healthy liquidity ▸ Align receivables with payables for effective working capital management ▸ Manage bank balances across multiple accounts; liaise with banking partners on transfers ▸ Support treasury operations — surplus investment and credit-line management ▸ Provide cash flow inputs for monthly MIS and board packs
Foreign Exchange (Forex) Management ▸ Manage multi-currency payables (USD, EUR, GBP, SGD, AED, and more) ▸ Track exchange rate movements and time payments to minimise forex exposure ▸ Execute forex transactions through authorised channels with complete records ▸ Engage bank treasury desks for competitive rates and forward-contract opportunities ▸ Ensure full FEMA / RBI compliance for all outward remittances ▸ Maintain forex gain/loss ledgers and report currency impact in monthly closing packs ▸ Build dashboards to track open forex exposures and hedge positions
Controls, Compliance & Reporting ▸ Ensure all transactions comply with GST, TDS, and Withholding Tax obligations ▸ Maintain audit-ready AP ledgers; lead audit preparedness for the payables function ▸ Prepare monthly AP MIS reports — outstanding payables, cash outflows, and forex P&L ▸ Establish strong internal controls and clear segregation of duties ▸ Support ERP and accounting system enhancements from a payables and treasury perspective
