Position: Accounts Payable Intern – Outsourced AP Operations

Internship Type: Full-time PAID Internship
Duration: 6 months (Can be converted to full-time, subject to performance)

Role Overview
We are looking for a Financial Accounting Intern to support international client engagements as part of our outsourced accounting and shared services delivery model.
The intern will work closely with experienced accounting and operations teams and gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing-focused invoice processing, purchase order validation and Accounts Payable operations for global clients.
This internship is designed to prepare candidates for long-term roles in global delivery and offshore accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform invoice processing, with a focus on manufacturing and supply-chain related invoices
- Validate invoices against purchase orders, contracts and goods receipt notes (3-way matching)
- Perform purchase order validation and vendor / master data checks
- Support Accounts Payable processing, including invoice posting, corrections and vendor clarifications
- Assist in Accounts Receivable support activities, where required
- Assist in maintaining books of accounts using SAP Business One /ERP
- Assist in bank reconciliations and transaction reviews
- Support month-end closing activities and MIS preparation
- Assist in audit support and documentation
- Support process documentation and internal control activities, where required
Eligibility / Qualification
- M.Com / MBA (Finance) / IPCC
- Strong interest in building a career in outsourced accounting and global shared services delivery
Preferred Skills
- Good understanding of basic accounting and Accounts Payable processes
- Exposure to invoice processing, purchase orders or ERP-based AP workflows is an advantage
- Exposure to ERP or SAP Business One is an advantage
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Must Have
- Strong interest in working in outsourced accounting and global Accounts Payable / invoice processing operations
- Willingness to work in a shared services / offshore delivery environment
- Ability to work full-time from office
Work Mode
- Onsite – Dundigal, Hyderabad (Client location – Pharma company)
- Preference for nearby / local Hyderabad candidates
Internship Outcome
