Role Description The Accounts Payable Analyst will manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice receipt, verification, coding, and timely payment execution. Daily responsibilities include reconciling vendor statements, resolving discrepancies, responding to supplier and internal stakeholder queries, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The role involves monitoring payment cycles, preparing periodic reports, supporting month-end closing activities, and contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, requiring close collaboration with finance, procurement, and operations teams.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with hands-on experience in Accounts Payable operations.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and related closing activities.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for identifying variances, resolving issues, and improving processes
- .Ability to handle high volume of Invoice Procesaing and Helpdesk queries
- Clear and professional Communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, ability to work with deadlines, and strong organizational skills.
- Prior experience in shared services, BPO, or large-scale corporate finance environments is an advantage.
