About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Accounts Manager – Financial Reporting to manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, payroll compliance, EXIM operations and FEMA compliance.
The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent analytical skills and the ability to take ownership, identify issues proactively and complete tasks without constant follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and management reports.
- Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC/GSTR-2B reconciliation and related activities.
- Manage TDS compliance, deductions, payments, returns and reconciliations.
- Coordinate payroll compliance, including applicable PF, ESI, PT and TDS requirements.
- Handle accounting and financial aspects of Export & Import (EXIM) operations.
- Manage foreign currency transactions, export receivables and import payments.
- Support and manage applicable FEMA/RBI compliance and reporting.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants and other professional advisors.
- Support statutory audits, tax audits and financial reviews.
- Monitor receivables, payables, cash flows and statutory liabilities.
- Identify accounting, tax and compliance risks and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain finance and compliance calendars and ensure deadlines are met.
- Develop and improve accounting controls, processes and reporting systems.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Provide timely financial insights and recommendations to management.
What We Are Looking For
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- CA/ ACCA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS and Indian statutory compliance.
- Experience in financial reporting, MIS and month-end closing.
- Practical experience in EXIM accounting and foreign currency transactions.
- Working knowledge of FEMA and RBI compliance.
- Experience with payroll accounting and statutory payroll compliances.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliations.
- Experience working with ERP/accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
