Role Description The Accounts Manager – Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining general ledgers, and ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping. The Accounts Manager will monitor cash flow, prepare financial statements and MIS reports, manage budgeting and forecasting, and support internal and external audits. The role includes ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and tax requirements, coordinating with banks and financial institutions, and optimizing financial processes to support business growth. The Accounts Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide financial insights to management, and help maintain robust internal controls.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including experience with general ledger management and preparation of financial statements.
- Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and cost control.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and audit coordination, with familiarity in local regulations and practices.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and Excel, along with comfort using ERP or financial management systems.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and stakeholder management skills to work with internal teams, vendors, and financial institutions.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an accounts or finance management role, preferably within design, sourcing, retail, or related industries, will be beneficial.
