Title: Accounts Manager – Wealth Management & Financial Services
Location: Delhi
Experience:
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Prior experience in the Financial Services, Investment Banking, Wealth Management, or BFSI sector will be preferred.
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Accounts Manager to join our finance team in New Delhi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, MIS reporting, reconciliations, audits, and budgeting activities.
This role reports directly to the CFO and requires strong analytical abilities, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in financial management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including:
- Balance Sheet
- Profit & Loss Statement
- Cash Flow Statement
- Management Reports
- Ensure timely closure of books and adherence to reporting timelines.
- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly MIS reports for management review.
- Maintain and update financial records, databases, and accounting documentation.
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting requirements.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and file:
- GST Returns
- TDS Returns
- Income Tax Returns
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Handle income tax and GST-related reconciliations and assessments.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage audit-related activities.
Accounting Operations
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Manage:
- Bank Reconciliations
- Vendor & Client Reconciliations
- GST Reconciliations
- Billing Operations
- Monitor accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections.
- Supervise accounts payable functions including invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliations.
Budgeting & Financial Controls
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Review operational expenses, payroll records, and supporting financial documents.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance across all financial transactions.
Team Management & Coordination
- Guide and supervise junior finance team members.
- Ensure smooth coordination with internal departments, auditors, consultants, and external stakeholders.
- Drive accountability and maintain high standards of financial accuracy and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Prior experience in the Financial Services, Investment Banking, Wealth Management, or BFSI sector will be preferred.
