Working Days 6 Days a Week (Monday – Saturday)
Working Hours 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST (Night Shift | Canada Timezone)

Key Responsibilities
- Core Accounting & Bookkeeping ▸ Maintain accurate books for Canada-based clients on Xero accounting software ▸ Record all financial transactions — sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journals ▸ Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and intercompany entries ▸ Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ▸ Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) cycles
- Xero Software – Mandatory ▸ Set up and maintain Xero charts of accounts as per client requirement ▸ Use Xero's bank feeds, invoicing, bills, and reporting modules independently
▸ Run Xero reports: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Aged Receivables/Payables, GST/HST reports
▸ Handle Xero integrations with Hubdoc, Dext, or similar document management tools (preferred)
- Property Management Accounting (Add-On / Preferred) ▸ Handle accounting for real estate / property management clients on Xero ▸Rental income recording, CAM charges, security deposits ▸Lease schedule maintenance and amortization ▸Property-wise P&L and owner distribution statements ▸Integration with property management tools like AppFolio, Buildium, or Yardi (preferred)
Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
▸ Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter / CMA Inter passed) OR Qualified CA (ICAI)
▸ Minimum 3–7 years of relevant accounting experience (International clients preferred)
▸ Hands-on proficiency in Xero accounting software — this is NON-NEGOTIABLE
▸ Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and financial statements
▸ Working knowledge of GST/HST, CRA compliance, or willingness to quickly learn
Preferred / Good To Have
▸ Prior experience working in a CA firm, vCFO firm, or BPO/KPO serving overseas clients
▸ Knowledge of property management accounting workflows
▸ Experience with tools like QuickBooks Online, MYOB, or Sage (in addition to Xero)
▸ Basic understanding of foreign exchange entries and multi-currency bookkeeping
