Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Executive role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting transactions, maintaining records, creating financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The responsibilities also include invoice processing, account reconciliation, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in monthly and annual financial closing processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial accounting, accounts receivable/payable, and ledger management.
- Experience with financial reporting, taxation, and compliance requirements.
- Strong skills in data analysis, budgeting, and cost control.
- Proficiency with accounting software and tools, such as Tally or similar systems.
- Familiarity with logistics or transportation industry accounting practices is a plus.
- Effective communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA) are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.
