Role Overview:
As our Financial Operations Associate, you will be the custodian of our fiscal health. You will manage the day-to-day financial pulse of the company, ensuring that our R&D and manufacturing pipelines are backed by impeccable records, seamless compliance, and strategic cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities:
Precision Financial Management
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Own the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycles with surgical precision.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank, vendor, and inter-company reconciliations to ensure a "single source of truth" for all financial data.
- Asset Tracking: Manage the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), specifically tracking specialized aerospace R&D equipment and lab infrastructure.
- Accurate Booking of expenses against invoices and following thorough processes
Compliance & Strategic Reporting
- Tax & Audit: Lead the preparation for GST filings, TDS compliance, and statutory audits.
- Financial Intelligence: Go beyond data entry. Generate monthly "Runway & Burn" reports, cash flow forecasts, and budget vs. actual variance analyses to help leadership make informed decisions.
- Closing: Coordinate and execute month-end and year-end closing processes with a focus on speed and accuracy.
Operational Excellence
- Vendor Relations: Manage outgoing payments to global and local suppliers, ensuring our supply chain remains uninterrupted.
- Bank Relations: Manage payments for imports and exports
- Process Automation: Identify ways to use Tally/Excel to automate repetitive tasks and improve financial reporting speed.
- Ad-Hoc Support: Assist with employee expense management and specialized administrative tasks that keep the office running like a well-oiled engine.
- Accurately reviewing invoices at time of booking, ensuring mapped to proforma/quotation, coordination with the supply chain team, Finance team, CAs and auditors
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (M.Com or CA-Inter is a plus).
- Experience: 1–3 years of core accounting experience, preferably in a startup, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
- Tech Stack: Mastery of Tally Prime and Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex data modeling are second nature to you).
- Mindset: You possess high integrity and a "no-task-too-small" attitude. You thrive in environments where things move fast and priorities shift.
