Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts & Audit Executive based in Anand, Gujarat. The work includes but not limited to:
- Independently verify expenditures before payment release for accuracy, legitimacy, and proper authorization as per policies and procedures defined.
- Review vouchers, invoices, contracts, approvals and all supporting documents for each payment.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, donor requirements, FCRA, Income‑tax and other applicable laws.
- Confirm that expenditures are within approved budgets, procurement norms, and delegated financial powers.
- Identify exceptions, irregularities, and potential risks in expenditure and documentation.
- Provide clear verification remarks/recommendations to approve, hold, or reject payments.
- Highlight control weaknesses noticed during verification and suggest process improvements.
- Coordinate with finance and programme teams to obtain clarifications and resolve observations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in understanding and laws applicable to charitable sector
- Understanding of Finance concepts and principles, ability to understand the accounting entries
- Attention to detail and good level of accuracy in accounting and auditing work
- Professional degree or certification in Accounting, Auditing, or related field
- Experience in a similar role is an added advantage
Candidates:

Salary Scale: 20-25k
