Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Associate to manage core accounting and compliance functions. This role requires hands-on experience in taxation and financial operations, along with the ability to independently handle responsibilities and ensure accuracy in all financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely recording of transactions
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities in Tally with minimal supervision
- Perform bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations
- Monitor expenses and ensure proper accounting controls
Taxation & Statutory Compliance:
- Independently manage GST filings and related compliance
- Support Income Tax filings, documentation, and assessments
- Handle PF and other statutory compliance requirements
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities
Financial Operations & Reporting:
- Manage invoicing, receivables, payables, and expense tracking
- Ensure proper documentation and readiness for audits
- Assist in preparation of MIS reports and financial summaries
- Identify and highlight discrepancies or process gaps
Qualifications & Skills:
- CA / CA Inter candidates preferred; B.Com / M.Com with relevant experience may also apply
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation
- Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
- Hands-on experience with Tally and MS Excel
- Ability to handle responsibilities independently with attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience in consulting or service-based organizations
- Exposure to handling audits and compliance independently
