Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Accountant & Finance Manager to independently manage end-to-end accounting, financial operations, and inventory accounting. The role requires strong expertise in compliance, vendor management, and cost tracking, especially in a hardware/electronics business.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Manage complete accounting cycle
- Ensure GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Handle monthly closing and MIS reporting
- Cash flow planning and fund management
- Finalization of accounts and coordination with CA
Inventory Accounting
- Track raw materials and finished goods
- Maintain stock valuation (FIFO / Weighted Avg)
- Reconcile physical vs system inventory
- Monitor dead stock and defective inventory
- Work closely with operations/store team
Vendor & Payables Management
- Vendor ledger reconciliation
- Payment planning and execution
- Cost tracking for purchases and imports
Import & Costing
- Handle import accounting entries
- Calculate landed cost (duty, freight, clearing)
- Coordinate with CHA and suppliers
- Maintain documentation for imports
Systems & Process
- Work on Zoho Books / Zoho Inventory / Tally
- Improve accounting and inventory processes
- Implement controls to avoid leakage or errors
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and compliance
- Experience in inventory accounting
- Exposure to import/export accounting
- Good command over Excel (must)
- Experience with ERP
