Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all financial transactions. This role requires an individual who is proficient with accounting software, has a strong understanding of financial processes, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and databases.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
- Ensure timely payment of bills and invoices.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits.
- Monitor and track company expenses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data.
- Perform general accounting tasks and support the finance team as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant (minimum of 2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally or similar).
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in handling payroll and taxation.
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
