About the role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Specialist with strong knowledge of e-commerce accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing accounting processes for e-commerce businesses, including marketplace reconciliations, payment gateway settlements, taxation, and financial reporting.
The candidate should be well-versed in accounting principles, compliance, and daily financial operations while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including:
- Journal entries
- Ledger maintenance
- Bookkeeping
- Accounts payable & receivable
- Handle e-commerce accounting operations across platforms such as: Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Other marketplaces.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in Accounts & Finance
- Mandatory experience in e-commerce accounting
- Strong understanding of:
- Marketplace accounting
- Strong understanding of filling of GST & TDS
- Settlement reconciliation
- Bookkeeping
- Financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with: Tally, Zoho, MS Excel
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
- Experience handling D2C/e-commerce brand accounts
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and return management
- Experience in audit coordination and taxation
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
