Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Manager located overseas. The Accounting Manager will oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, manage journal entries, and maintain records of fixed assets. Responsibilities include establishing internal controls, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, conducting financial reviews, and providing insights through data analysis to support business decisions. The role also involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement best financial practices and support overall organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS, IAS).
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist in creating, managing, and monitoring budgets, providing variance analysis to leadership.
- Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate external audits and ensure the availability of accurate and timely information.
- Oversee tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Manage accounting software and ERP systems to optimize financial processes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in CA, CA Inter.
- Minimum 9+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including supervisory/team handling experience.
- Candidates with experience in Manufacturing Industries, Trading, and Import/Export companies will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, ERP systems, GAAP, and IFRS.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
