Website: mcdonaldsindia.com Job details: Roles & Responsibilities:Manage and analyze P&L across a large retail network, driving insights and performance improvement.Conduct detailed GL analysis and ensure strong adherence to accounting principlesIdentify financial variances, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actionsPartner closely with store operations teams for real-time problem-solving and decision support.Execute and oversee critical month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.Interpret and validate accounting treatment for complex transactions in line with IND AS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Manage audit requirements and queries, ensuring well-prepared schedules, strong documentation, and smooth closure cycles.Provide ongoing financial and accounting support to store teams, ensuring timely resolution of queries and operational alignment.Strengthen and streamline accounting processes, identifying and fixing inefficiencies.Drive finance transformation initiatives, including implementation and enhancement of ERP / SaaS-based solutions to improve automation, controls, and reporting efficiency.Strengthen internal controls and process governance in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.Prepare and present P&L reports and insights to leadership with clarity and impact.Work closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless audit process and high-quality financial reporting standards.Required Qualification:Qualified CA with 3–4 years of experienceExperience in P&L management, preferably in a retail/QSR environmentStrong grounding in IND AS, accounting standards, and financial reportingProven ability in variance analysis and financial storytellingExperience in implementation or improvement of ERP / SaaS-based finance solutionsPrior experience with Big 4 audit firms or strong exposure to audit environments is highly preferredCollaborative mindset with a hands-on approach to working with operations teamsAbility to balance analytical thinking with strong execution rigor in a dynamic environmentExposure to ERP - Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an added advantageStrong attention to detail, analytical ability, and communication skills Click on Apply to know more.
