Hiring: Assistant Bookkeeper | Hybrid | Noida (Sector 77)
Chatterjee & Associates is a fast-growing accounting and bookkeeping outsourcing firm serving clients across the United States. We’re looking for an early-career Assistant Bookkeeper who wants hands-on exposure to international clients, modern cloud accounting tools, and structured learning.
What you’ll do
- Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks Online
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Record and categorize transactions accurately
- Prepare and review financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure books are accurate, complete, and up to date
- Communicate with the team to resolve accounting queries
- Work across multiple international client files using QBO/Xero/Wave
Training, tools & work model
- First month: Complete QuickBooks Online certification as part of structured onboarding
- After certification: Start working on live client accounts with guidance from senior accountants
- Hybrid setup: 3 days in-office, 2 days WFH (requires a quiet, dedicated workspace at home)
You’re a great fit if you:
- Have 1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (more than 2 years, please do not apply)
- Are comfortable working in QuickBooks Online (QBO); Xero/Wave experience is a plus
- Understand core accounting principles and financial statements
- Are detail-oriented, organized, and good at managing your time
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally
- Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
