📌 Accounts & Operations Manager — Dame Health
Location: Ballygunge, Kolkata (in-office, full-time) Reports to: Founder
About Dame Health
Dame Health is a fast-growing D2C women's health and fertility brand. In under 3 years we've served 20,000+ customers across India through marketplaces, our own website, and quick commerce. We're a lean, execution-first team — and we're looking for someone who can own the financial and operational backbone of the business.
The Role 🧾
This is an accounting-first role with significant logistics and compliance responsibility. You'll be the single point of ownership for our books, vendor payments, debtor follow-ups, inventory tracking, and day-to-day fulfilment coordination across marketplaces.
If you know your way around Tally and you're a quick learner, the logistics side will come easily — it's not complicated, but it needs someone reliable who doesn't drop balls.
What You'll Own💰 Accounts & Finance
- Daily Tally entries — sales, purchases, expenses, journal entries, bank transactions
- Bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
- Cheque preparation and signing coordination
- GST, TDS, and statutory filings support (in coordination with our CA)
- Monthly closing and audit readiness
📦 Inventory & Logistics
- Maintain accurate inventory across warehouse, FBA, and quick commerce dark stores
- Download daily orders and shipping labels from Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, and other channels
- Hand off labels and pick-lists to the packing team and ensure same-day/next-day dispatch
- Coordinate courier pickups, returns, RTOs, and damage claims
🤝 B2B & Vendor Management
- Maintain the B2B debtor list and ensure all outstanding payments come in on time
- Vendor coordination — POs, GRNs, invoices, payment cycles
- Build and maintain healthy vendor relationships
📄 Compliance & Licensing
- Manage and renew all government licenses (FSSAI, drug licenses, trade licenses, factory licenses, etc.)
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections
Who We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent
- 2–5 years of hands-on Tally experience (Tally Prime preferred)
- Solid grasp of accounting fundamentals — GST, TDS, journal entries, reconciliations
- Comfortable in Excel and Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, basic dashboards)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and follows through without being chased
- Smart and quick to learn — you'll pick up marketplace operations on the job
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior experience at a D2C, FMCG, or nutraceutical company
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central or Flipkart Seller Hub
- Experience with FSSAI or other regulatory licensing
