Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced finance professional to join our organization as an Accountant – Payment & Treasury. The role involves managing treasury operations, overseeing payment processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting financial reporting within a dynamic and fast-growing Alco-Bev environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day treasury and accounting operations, including payments, fund transfers, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor bank accounts, fund positions, and working capital requirements to ensure optimal liquidity management.
- Ensure timely processing of vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and travel claims through appropriate banking channels.
- Handle statutory payments such as GST, TDS, TCS, and VAT, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations.
- Liaise with banking partners for documentation, compliance requirements, and credit limit (CC) renewals.
- Prepare and present MIS reports related to fund utilization, bank balances, and cash flow analysis.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities in coordination with the finance team.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all financial transactions and statutory filings.
- Identify opportunities to improve payment processes and enhance efficiency in fund flow management.
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, treasury, or payment operations.
- Strong understanding of banking systems, fund management, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills- Experience in managing relationships with multiple banks and handling online payment platforms.
- Working knowledge of statutory compliances, including GST, TDS, TCS, and VAT.
