Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Pune Division at our Vervve Hotels & Resorts office in NIBM Pune. The Accountant will handle daily financial tasks including managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, reconciling bank accounts, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, preparing budgets, supporting audits, and collaborating with departments to provide financial insights and reports.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial accounting, reporting, and auditing
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Knowledge of statutory compliance, taxation, and regulatory requirements
- Comfortable with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA or equivalent certification is a plus)
- Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
