We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's financial transactions, inventory accounting, cost records, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting, GST, TDS, inventory reconciliation, and ERP software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Maintain inventory accounting and reconcile stock with stores and production records.
- Prepare costing reports and monitor production costs.
- Assist in preparing Bills of Material (BOM) costing and product cost analysis.
- Process purchase, sales, journal, and payment entries.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Prepare E-way Bills and coordinate with logistics where required.
- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing required documentation.
- Monitor fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and stores departments for inventory and costing-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and government regulations.
- Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Manufacturing Accounting.
- Good understanding of Inventory Management and Cost Accounting.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Experience with ERP software such as Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, Busy, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
