The 'Accounts Executive' will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, processing student fee-related transactions, and coordinating with internal teams, banks, and external auditors. The role demands strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and sound knowledge of accounting principles and software such as Tally.
Key Responsibilities
- Bank & Fee Management:
- Record and maintain bank statement narrations on the sales side.
- Assign fee structures and clear fee entries in ERP upon receipt in the bank account.
- Set up and monitor auto-debit arrangements for new student admissions.
- Regularly reconcile fee receipts with bank transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Accounting & Documentation:
- Maintain organized records of accounting and financial documents (invoices, receipts, vouchers, etc.).
- Pass accurate journal entries and postings in Tally.
- Handle petty cash management, including recording, reconciling, and reporting cash expenses.
- Compliance & Coordination:
- Coordinate with the CA’s team for TDS deductions, GST filings, and submission of supporting documents.
- Support in preparing and sharing required reports or data for audits and statutory compliances.
- Student Loan & Bank Coordination:
- Process student loan applications by coordinating between students, banks, and the institute.
- Liaise with bank representatives for account queries, payment issues, or reconciliation needs.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports, including cash flow, collections, and outstanding reports.
- Support management with financial data analysis and MIS reporting as required.
