Role Description The Accountant – Hospitality Industry at Aaryam is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate and timely entry of revenue and expenses for multiple hospitality properties. The accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and coordination with property teams to track bookings, payments, and vendor settlements. The role includes preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and cost control, monitoring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and assisting with audits. The accountant will collaborate with operations and management to provide financial insights that support pricing, occupancy analysis, and overall business performance in the hospitality environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Experience in accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and invoice processing, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP tools, as well as MS Excel for data analysis, reconciliations, and financial modeling.
- Knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance relevant to hospitality and property-based operations.
- Ability to analyze occupancy, revenue, and cost data to support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability improvement.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and ability to meet deadlines in a multi-property environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with property teams, management, and external vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/ICWA/CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in hotel, resort, or hospitality accounting is highly preferred.
