Company Description YnD Design Studio is an architecture and interior design practice based in India, working across residential, commercial, institutional, and cultural projects. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Raipur. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The role involves preparing invoices, tracking project-wise expenses, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting budgeting and cost control for architecture and interior design projects. The Accountant will assist with monthly and annual financial statements, coordinate with external auditors or consultants, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation, and statutory requirements. The role also includes preparing financial reports for management, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with project and operations teams to support informed financial decisions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in core accounting activities, such as bookkeeping, general ledger management, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and receivable management, invoicing, expense tracking, and cash-flow monitoring.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and relevant accounting standards applicable in India.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar), MS Excel, and basic financial analysis tools.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, vendors, and leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/ICWA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience in the architecture, interior design, construction, or related project-based industry is preferred.
