Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Accountant to join our team on-site in Mumbai. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and ensuring tax compliance. The role also involves hands-on management of our accounting system through Odoo or Zoho Books, including setup, integration, and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate with internal teams to generate MIS reports, support financial planning, and uphold WOWZ's commitment to precision and excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP or Zoho books — integration, configuration, and daily use
- Excellent skills in bookkeeping, reconciliation, and managing accounts payable/receivable
- Understanding of tax and compliance regulations, including GST, TDS, and income tax filings
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting tools
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
- Prior experience in the fashion or retail industry is a plus
- Certification like CA Inter or equivalent professional qualifications is advantageous
