Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Sonipat. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. The role involves preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting, monitoring cash flow, and supporting internal financial reporting. The Accountant will help ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies, while coordinating with internal departments and external auditors as needed. The position also includes maintaining organized financial records and providing timely insights to support management decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including experience with bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools, plus Microsoft Excel).
- Knowledge of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and basic auditing practices relevant to commercial and industrial operations.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, support budgeting processes, and monitor cash flow and cost controls.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate, organized financial records.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with operations, procurement, and management teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/Cost Accountant) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, infrastructure, environmental services, or a similar industry is beneficial.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and ability to work independently in an on-site setting in Sonipat.
