Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Mumbai. The Accountant will be responsible for processing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, handling tax compliance and filings, and reconciling bank accounts. The role also involves assisting with audits, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while maintaining the confidentiality and accuracy of financial data.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in financial accounting, budgeting, and preparation of financial statements
- Proven experience with account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Knowledge of tax compliance, financial regulations, and audit preparation
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in an on-site environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or CA certification is a plus
- Experience in the manufacturing or materials science industry is a bonus
