Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Accountant role located in Malappuram. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring adherence to accounting principles and compliance standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing tax filings, generating balance sheets and income statements, reconciling accounts, and supporting audits. The role also involves analyzing financial data to assist in decision-making and providing accurate financial advice to the management team.
Qualifications
- Strong Accounting and Financial Reporting skills, including proficiency in preparing financial statements and reports
- Proficiency in Spreadsheet Software, such as Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with Accounting Software
- Tax Preparation and Compliance knowledge, including understanding of laws and regulations
- Analytical and Problem-Solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
- Attention to Detail and Organizational skills to maintain accurate and precise financial records
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills to effectively convey financial information
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
- Experience in the retail or trading industry is an advantage
