Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Jaipur. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and preparing invoices and payment records. The role includes assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and supporting budgeting and cash flow tracking. The Accountant will help ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation requirements, and internal policies, as well as coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as needed. The role also involves preparing financial reports and summaries for management to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in core accounting principles, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to support management decisions.
- Proficiency with accounting software (Tally) and MS Excel for financial data management.
- Knowledge of relevant taxation rules, statutory compliance, and basic auditing practices.
- Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Jaipur, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (B.com/ M.com)
- Prior experience in trading, manufacturing, or supply-chain-related industries is preferred but not mandatory.
