Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Accountant position located in Nagpur. The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining updated accounting records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. Additional responsibilities include monitoring budgets, processing invoices and payments, assisting in tax calculations, and ensuring compliance with financial laws and company policies. The role requires collaborating with other team members to ensure accurate financial planning and management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, or related tools
- Understanding of payments, invoices, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
- Knowledge of taxation principles and compliance with financial regulations
- Strong skills in reconciliation, budgeting, and analyzing financial data
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant tools for reporting and analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in accounting or finance roles and familiarity with the steel trading industry is a plus
- Fluency in marathi and hindi languages for effective communication
