Role Description
The Greenwood Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team in Guwahati. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Key tasks include handling accounts payable/receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, budgeting, and assisting with audits. You will collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure financial efficiency and accuracy in all aspects of the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills, including expertise in accounting software, financial management systems, and data analysis tools
- Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA (preferred)
- Prior experience in hospitality or service industries is a plus
