Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant, located in the Greater Chennai Area. The Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, performing tax calculations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additional duties include budget preparation, expense tracking, and actively participating in audits and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and issues.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Track sales performance metrics and KPIs.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with sales analytics tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Managing accounts payable/receivable
- Ensuring compliance with regulations
- Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage Company accounts end to end and file GSTR returns
- Basic Admin work
- Manage vendors accounts, ensuring timely payments and maintaining positive relationship
- Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in account management, or a similar role.
