Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accountant, based in Bhubaneswar with flexibility for some remote work. The Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable/receivable, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role will involve financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and providing support during audits to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
- Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ability to maintain compliance with taxation, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in numeric data handling
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Experience in a corporate or technology-driven environment is preferred
