Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST, TDS, Tally, and preparation of financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally
- Record daily financial transactions, invoices, and expenses
- Reconcile bank statements and ledgers
2. GST & Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
- Ensure proper GST invoicing and compliance
- Handle GST reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
3. TDS & Statutory Compliance
- Deduct and file TDS returns as per applicable laws
- Ensure timely payment of TDS and other statutory dues
- Maintain records for compliance and audits
4. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist in preparing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and MIS reports
- Support audits and provide required documentation
5. Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (CA, auditors)
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST and TDS regulations
- Hands-on experience in Tally (ERP)
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience working in SMEs/startups is a plus
