Role Description
This is a full-time Accountant role, located on-site in Coimbatore. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, overseeing budgets, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. Additional responsibilities include monitoring accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, supporting audits, and providing financial analyses to aid organizational decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in managing accounts, financial statements, and budgeting
- Strong skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and technologies
- Knowledge of tax laws, compliance requirements, and bookkeeping
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in financial documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus)
- Previous experience in a similar accounting role is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end accounting functions including payables,
- Receivables, bank reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and statutory filings.
- Handle taxation matters including GST, TDS, and other regulatory compliances.
- Support audits and liaise with auditors for smooth and timely completion.
- Maintain cost control measures and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Work extensively with ERP systems such as Tally-Prime for accounting and books reporting processes.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff where required.
Requirements :
- 5-10+ years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on expertise in Tally-Prime systems.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and compliance requirements.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Salary Range: 25k-30k
