About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in India. The role centers on accounting operations, expense and revenue booking, vendor reconciliation, and supporting monthly books closure. If you thrive in a structured finance environment and have hands-on SAP experience, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue booking and realisation reconciliation
- Accounting for expenses, including booking of bills in SAP by the 15th of the following month
- Reconciling the day book in coordination with the Nigeria Center team, plus petty cash reconciliation and booking in SAP
- Vendor reconciliation by the 15th of the following month
- Preparation of weekly purchase reports
- Accounting for COGS, including booking of bills in SAP by the 15th of the following month
- Monthly GRN vs SAP reconciliation
- Timely booking of fixed asset bills
- Monthly preparation of FA vs SAP reconciliation
- Supporting senior team members in monthly books closure
- Supporting senior team members during audits
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
- Hands-on experience with SAP is essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet monthly closing deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams
