Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Kolkata. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Additional responsibilities include monitoring financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing tax returns, and assisting in audits as required. The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in financial software.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax compliance
- Strong skills in financial software, spreadsheets, and database management
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills
- Problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CA (preferred)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Prior experience in a trading or similar industry is a plus
