Company Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented freshers to join our Finance Team as Accountants. Candidates will assist in maintaining financial records, bookkeeping, GST/TDS support, and other accounting activities while learning in a professional work environment.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant – Fresher at our Greater Chennai Area office. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, handling tax filings, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Additional responsibilities include assisting in audits, performing data entry for financial transactions, and supporting the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in basic accounting principles, financial statements, and bookkeeping
- Skills in using accounting software and tools, such as Tally, QuickBooks, or MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance standards, and assisting in audits
- Excellent numerical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Pursued or completed a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- Previous internship or theoretical knowledge in accounting processes is advantageous but not mandatory
