Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Kolkata. The Accountant will oversee financial transactions, ensure accurate record-keeping, prepare financial statements, and assist in budgeting and forecasting. The role includes reconciling accounts, managing compliance with financial regulations, preparing tax filings, and offering support during audits. The Accountant will also assist with creating reports to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and taxation
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools such as Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and ability to reconcile accounts
- Effective organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multiple departments
- Experience working in the textile or manufacturing industry is a plus
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Candidates with export background is a plus
