Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Kozhikode. The Accountant will oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and assisting with budget planning and financial forecasting. The role also involves coordinating with auditors and providing support for tax preparation and filing.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management
- Proficiency in accounting software, financial analysis tools, and advanced Excel skills
- Attention to detail, ability to ensure accuracy in calculations and reports
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; additional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus
- Prior experience in accounting or finance is preferred
