Senior Accountant – RH(a+d) & Konark Realtors
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Accounting Operations
- Oversee and maintain accurate books of accounts for RH(a+d) and Konark Realtors.
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including:
- sales
- purchases
- receivables
- payables
- banking
- reconciliations
- journal entries
- Ensure accurate project-wise accounting and cost allocation.
- Supervise and streamline accounting workflows and documentation systems.
2. GST, Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and file:
- GST returns
- TDS filings
- statutory returns
- professional tax and related compliance documentation
- Ensure compliance with:
- GST regulations
- Income Tax regulations
- Company Law
- accounting standards
- Coordinate with CA firms, auditors, consultants, and legal teams for smooth compliance management.
- Handle notices, reconciliations, assessments, and taxation-related queries.
3. Financial Reporting & Strategic Analysis
- Prepare and present:
- monthly P&L statements
- balance sheets
- cash flow reports
- MIS reports
- financial summaries
- Develop detailed financial dashboards and reporting systems for management review.
- Analyze:
- expense trends
- project profitability
- cash flow movement
- vendor liabilities
- receivable cycles
- Assist leadership in making strategic decisions regarding:
- investments
- hiring
- production planning
- capital allocation
- project feasibility
4. Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control
- Prepare annual and project-wise budgets.
- Monitor actual expenses against budgeted projections.
- Track construction, production, and operational costs across projects.
- Forecast future financial requirements and working capital needs.
- Identify areas for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
5. Project & Vendor Financial Coordination
- Track:
- project-wise expenditures
- contractor payments
- consultant fees
- vendor outstanding balances
- client receivables
- Ensure timely payment processing and financial coordination with internal teams.
- Work closely with architects, project managers, and leadership to maintain financial discipline across projects.
6. Audit & Documentation
- Maintain audit-ready financial records and documentation.
- Coordinate and prepare documentation for:
- statutory audits
- internal audits
- taxation audits
- financial due diligence
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all supporting records.
7. Process Development & Financial Systems
- Improve and systemize accounting and reporting processes across both organizations.
- Develop robust systems for:
- expense tracking
- project profitability monitoring
- invoice management
- cash flow tracking
- approval workflows
- Assist in implementing digital accounting and reporting tools where required.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation
- B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA / CA (Preferred)
- Additional certifications in taxation, finance, or accounting systems are a plus.
Experience
- 8–12 years of professional accounting experience.
- Mandatory experience in:
- Real Estate / Construction Accounting
- Architecture / Design / Creative Industry Accounting
- Experience handling multiple business entities preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in:
- Tally ERP
- Zoho Books
- MS Excel (Advanced)
- Financial reporting tools
- Strong understanding of:
- GST
- TDS
- Indian taxation
- project accounting
