Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger postings, and bank reconciliations. The role includes preparing and reviewing invoices, expense reports, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. The Accountant will monitor cash flow, assist with budgeting and forecasting, support internal and external audits, and maintain accurate financial records. Collaboration with internal teams, timely reporting to management, and continuous improvement of accounting processes are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and basic data analysis.
- Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense management.
- Ability to prepare and review financial statements, support budgeting, and assist with tax and audit requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, CPA equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a consulting, services, or placement firm environment is beneficial.
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion in handling confidential information, and a commitment to compliance and ethical practices.
