Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Varanasi. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring financial records, handling daily financial transactions, and preparing financial statements and reports. Additional responsibilities include reconciling accounts, maintaining budgets, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will work closely with other departments to support decision-making processes by providing accurate financial insights.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for financial data interpretation
- Attention to detail, accuracy in financial calculations, and time management skills
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance standards
- Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and present financial information
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA) are highly desirable
- Previous experience in accounting or financial management is preferred
