Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The role also involves budget preparation, tax filing, and providing financial insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management
- Strong skills in financial software, data accuracy, and attention to detail
- Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in tax preparation and filing
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CA are a plus
- Previous work experience in logistics or transport industries is an advantage
