Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Motihari for the position of Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Key tasks may include bookkeeping, handling payroll, managing budgets, reconciling account discrepancies, and coordinating with auditors during financial reviews. The Accountant will contribute to maintaining financial efficiency and supporting organizational strategic financial goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements.
- Understanding of tax regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to reconcile account discrepancies and manage budgets.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and organization skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CA are a plus.
- Experience working in education or similar sectors is an advantage.
