Company Description
We are a reputed industrial contractor company looking for a highly skilled Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and managing day-to-day financial operations, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the overall accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, budgets, and tax returns.
- Handle project cost tracking and financial reporting related to construction and real estate projects.
- Maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis for projects.
- Coordinate audits, both internal and external, and ensure the implementation of recommendations.
- Supervise and mentor the accounts team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and prepare reports for management.
- Oversee reconciliation of accounts, month-end closing, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and legal requirements, including GST, TDS, and other taxes.
- Monitor and improve internal controls related to accounting and financial processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate industry.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other relevant tax regulations.
- Expertise in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage an accounts team.
